I love sports – especially football, basketball, ice skating and golf. In the last few years, with serious ethical issues seemingly on the rise in the sports arena, a lot of media scrutiny and public attention is now focused on sports organizations and individual sports figures.
I dealt with issues affecting public figures throughout my career in government and politics, as well as in the music industry. Now that I am nearing completion of my master’s in PR, I find myself looking at sports with the same scrutiny and watching to see how agents and consultants advise their clients in handling these tough issues.
